Introduction

Welcome to Veridian Haven. We are an exclusive artisanal studio and design consultancy dedicated to transforming spaces into personalized havens of color and texture. These Terms & Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy, form a legally binding agreement between you, the user, and Veridian Haven regarding your access to and use of our website and services.

1. Website Usage

1.1 Permitted Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use and enjoyment of the website. Permitted uses include browsing our service offerings, researching design ideas, and contacting Veridian Haven for consultations.

1.2 Prohibited Activities

You must not misuse our website by knowingly introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our site, the server on which our site is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to our site. Furthermore, any scraping, data mining, or automated collection of content from our site is strictly prohibited.

1.3 Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and the compilation thereof, is the property of Veridian Haven or its suppliers and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website without the prior written consent of Veridian Haven.

2. Service Engagement

2.1 Custom Paint Consultations and Design Services

When engaging Veridian Haven for custom paint consultations, pigment-inspired textile design, artisanal wall art curation, unique furniture sourcing and restoration, bespoke lighting solutions, or interior styling services, a separate Project Agreement or Service Level Agreement (SLA) will be provided. This agreement will detail the scope of work, timelines, deliverables, and specific terms relevant to your project. These website Terms & Conditions will apply concurrently with such service agreements.

2.2 Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policies

• Payment: All service fees are detailed in your specific Project Agreement. Payment schedules and accepted methods will be outlined therein.
• Refunds: Deposits for design services are non-refundable once work has commenced. Specific refund policies for products or completed phases will be outlined in your individual service agreement.
• Cancellations: Cancellation terms for consultations and projects will be specified in your Project Agreement. Cancellations may incur fees depending on the stage of engagement and resources allocated.
• Workshops: For color theory workshops, cancellations made 48 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future workshop date at Veridian Haven's discretion.

3. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Veridian Haven, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

4. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Springfield, Illinois, for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.
